In this episode, we learn about the benefits of Learn2QuitNY, a six-week comprehensive text messaging program from the Quitline. This free program includes daily motivational messages to empower participants to stay focused and build skills. Learn2QuitNY also helps participants work toward weekly goals, such as setting a date to quit, navigating stress, and envisioning improved health.

She also is a member of the Quitline's Healthcare Professional Task Force. Rose discusses tips for smokers and vape-product users to become nicotine-free during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
